a forgotten promise;
Man seeks peace, yet at the same time yearns for war... Those are the two realms belonging surely to man. They're two sides of the same coin.

This is a long list, but for diehard fans of itachi, please do read this post. Here are some facts I’ve compiled while reading the Itachi Shinden novels (Book of Daylight and Midnight):

It is an absolute shame that the anime did not give Itachi’s character enough credit. His story is so profound, and you can really feel his emotions through the articulate writing. I am awestruck. Itachi was a patient and selfless man whose mind was puddled with questions and doubts about his destiny in his Godforsaken clan. I have nothing else to say. Itachi is nothing short of a hero.

for those who are diehard fans of Itachi… i honestly recommend you pick up the actual books for Itachi Shinden (Itachi’s Story: Midnight and Daylight). The anime does it no justice. I picked my copies up from Indigo and… it really goes in depth of itachi’s dreams and his feelings, i’m BAWLING MY EYES OUT
